• Appearance

  Urgoz is what many would call your typical Orc; He's huge,standing at about six foot ten inches,with limbs comparable to tree trunks,and hands like spades. His skin is a dark,orichalc green,though his face is unpainted,and his ears unpierced. His body has been toned by a lifetime of martial training,and work at the forge,leaving little room for doubt in the minds of onlookers to his physical prowess. Confident in himself,Urgoz stands tall and proud,only bowing himself when social decorum demands it,and even so,only to the minimum required.
  
  It is plain to any and all who behold him that Urgoz is a full-blooded Orsimer; Were there any foreign blood in his veins,his flesh would be a lighter shade of green,maybe even off-white. To a fellow Orsimer,Urgoz is the very picture of an ideal male specimen of the Orsimer species,though most others will see him as little more than a barbarous pig.
  
  Urgoz's face is narrow,and all angles; His nose is long and flat,ending with a prominent point,while his chin is noticeably squared off. With gaunt cheeks and flattened,knifelike ears,Urgoz appears to be tense at all times,though that's just the face he was born with. His almond-shaped eyes are a brilliant amber in colour,set in deep sockets,with only his twin tusks to draw attention to them. A scar mars his right cheek,a reminder of a his time in Cyrodiil,and a close encounter with an angry cougar. Urgoz takes great care in his hair,keeping his face clean-shaven,as well as most of his head,wearing what little of his hair remains as a warrior's topknot.

• Demeanour

  Urgoz is a very proud man,finding great satisfaction in the plying of his chosen craft; Shaping metal. He strides forth in life,rarely ever looking back,confident in his choices and path. His confidence and pride are evident in how he interacts with those around him,often pursuing his own agenda nakedly,assuming others are doing the same. As a supplicant of Malacath,Urgoz finds wilful powerlessness to be disgusting,and will never hesitate to make his thoughts known on such matters,often alienating him from social circles. However,despite this,he has made a small handful of precious friends,who he will stand beside against all comers.
  
  Urgoz's voice,to any non-Orc,would sound near-identical to any other male Orc. His voice is deep and rough,capable of a low,menacing growl,or a great,booming bellow,or anything in between. With such a powerful and commanding voice,Urgoz is fully aware that he'll end up intimidating or offending nearly everyone he speaks to,so he deigns to only speak when necessary amongst strangers. Should he be forced to speak,he will speak his mind,and nothing else. Amongst friends,however,his demeanour takes a turn,becoming loud or quiet as needed,and speaking at length on whichever topic might be at hand.
  
  Those who truly know Urgoz know of his great passions in life; Smithing,scrimshaw,woodcarving,literature,and,as of late,enchanting. Should the discussion ever approach these topics,Urgoz abandons his icy demeanour,and demonstrates an energy that many strange to him would find utterly jarring. To him,these are all expressions of art,practical as many of them are,and are to be admired,even if it's spattered in the blood of his enemies. In public,he quickly catches himself,and reigns himself in,but in private company,this state will run rampant for several hours. On the inverse,however,Urgoz has yet to meet a bard whose work he liked.
  
  

  

• Personality

  Urgoz is driven by a single core principle in life; Be strong. He shares this core tenet with many fellow Orsimer on Tamriel,though he defines strength rather differently from many of his fellows. To him,strength is anything that affords an advantage,when used intelligently. To this end,he does not scorn magic,but rather scorns those that wield it,should he find them to be unwise and overly prideful. Furthermore,he applauds cunning trickery wherever he finds it,knowing the power of the right word to the right audience,or the poisoned blade in the dark. Finally,he values his allies,knowing them to be strong in ways which are beyond him,allowing them to be stronger than the sum of their parts.
  
  Besides his driving principle,Urgoz appreciates art. To him,art is one of the purest expressions of skill and passion,two key aspects of power. Art is something to be admired,respected,and learned from,as well as a window into the soul of the artist in question. Be it a well-written book,a masterful painting,or a well-made breastplate,or carved tusk; Art will spark a flame within him,a passion to know,and to exceed,a motivation to better himself,and those around him.
  
  Of particular note is Urgoz's value of family; To him,a family is precious,and something to be preserved,and made healthy,above all else. A whole,happy family is the cradle of all of life's greatness,and should be cherished. To have one's family fall apart,or worse,stolen,is a great pain that Urgoz would never wish upon even his worst enemy. Orphans,widows,and broken families are some of the few sights that can draw out the sympathies of the normally taciturn Orc - or whip him into an unmitigated furor.
